- Providing one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN in various subjects.
- Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs), adapting resources and activities to meet specific student needs.
- Monitoring student progress and providing regular feedback to teachers.
- Encouraging positive behavior and fostering a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom atmosphere.
- Supporting student's social and emotional development, helping them to build friendships and self-esteem.
- Assisting with classroom management and administrative tasks as needed.
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient individual with a genuine passion for working with children with SEN.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant experience working with children, preferably in an educational or care setting.
- A relevant qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) is desirable but not essential. We are willing to provide training and support for the right candidate.
