- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with various Special Educational Needs, helping them to access the curriculum.
- Assist in adapting learning materials and activities to suit individual student needs and learning styles.
- Support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and track student progress.
- Encourage student independence and develop their social, emotional, and communication skills.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other specialists to ensure a holistic approach to each student's education.
- Manage classroom behavior positively and help create a calm, respectful learning atmosphere.
- Patience and empathy: The ability to understand and support students with different challenges.
- Strong communication skills: You can effectively communicate with students, staff, and parents.
