You will work closely with Teachers to support students who have a range of learning, physical, and/or behavioral needs. - Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals.
- Assist with the preparation of learning materials and adapt them to suit the individual needs of the students you are supporting.
- Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and track student progress.
- Foster a positive and safe learning environment, helping to manage classroom behavior and promote social and emotional development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
- Assist with personal care needs where required, always maintaining student dignity and privacy.
- Experience: Previous experience working with children or young people, particularly those with Special Educational Needs, is highly desirable.
- Patience and Empathy: The ability to be patient, understanding, and empathetic to the unique challenges students may face.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, staff, and parents.
