This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who wants to help every student reach their full potential.The Role: What You'll DoAs a vital part of the classroom team, you will provide tailored support to students, helping to create a positive and productive learning environment. Your day-to-day duties will include:
  • Individualised Support: Working one-on-one or with small groups of students to assist them with learning tasks and help them understand concepts.
  • Classroom Collaboration: Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery, preparing educational materials, and helping to maintain an engaging and inclusive classroom.
  • Emotional & Social Development: Acting as a supportive mentor, guiding students as they develop essential social, emotional, and self-regulation skills.
  • Progress Monitoring: Providing valuable feedback to the teacher on student progress, successes, and challenges to help adapt learning strategies.
The Ideal Candidate: Who We're Looking ForWe are seeking a compassionate and resilient individual with a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs. The ideal candidate will have:
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and a valid Child DBS on the update service (or the willingness to apply for one).
  • Empathy: The ability to connect with students on their level and remain calm and supportive, especially during challenging moments.
  • A Proactive Approach: A "can-do" attitude and the ability to take initiative and find creative solutions.
  • Strong Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents, and to work collaboratively as part of a friendly team.
  • Relevant Experience: Previous experience working with children, particularly in a school setting or with SEN, is highly desirable.
