Working closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff, you will:
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual student needs
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of creative, differentiated lessons
  • Foster a nurturing, inclusive environment to support emotional and behavioural development
  • Help pupils develop social skills, independence, and confidence
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff and parents
  • Support with personal care tasks when required (training provided)

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred but not essential)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Child DBS on the update service
  • A compassionate, and resilient nature
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and staff
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) is desirable
