- Full ownership of the purchase ledger – from processing invoices to preparing payment runs
- Matching, batching, and coding of supplier invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries promptly
- Managing the AP inbox and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
- Assisting with month-end processes related to accounts payable
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties as required
- Solid, demonstrable experience in an Accounts Payable role
- Confidence in taking full control of the ledger and working independently
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Experience working within an SME environment is advantageous
- Comfortable using accounting software and Excel
