You'll play a vital role in managing credit control, reducing customer debt, and improving cash flow while maintaining excellent relationships across both internal teams and external clients.What's on offer?Competitive salary based on experienceFriendly, supportive team environmentOn-site parking & other benefitsThe Credit Controller role will involve:Managing credit control processes and working closely with the A/R ClerkProactively chasing debt via phone and email to ensure timely paymentsBuilding strong internal relationships with Sales Order Processing to resolve billing issuesPerforming regular credit checks and maintaining accurate credit limits and termsAllocating payments and minimising unallocated cashPreparing aged debt reports and supporting monthly cashflow forecastingUploading invoices to customer portals and managing credit note authorisationHandling intercompany invoicing and reconciliationsThe successful candidate will have:Previous experience in a Credit Control positionStrong Excel and MS Office skillsHigh attention to detail with excellent organisational skillsA confident, professional telephone mannerAAT qualification (or part-qualified CIMA) preferredExperience with ERP systems or in a manufacturing environment (desirable)This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and forward thinking organisation that truly values its people.
