- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with a diverse customer base, from sole traders to large fleet clients.
- Strong sales acumen, able to identify needs, match customers to the right LCV solutions, and proactively manage every sales opportunity.
- Passion for automotive sales, with in-depth knowledge and enthusiasm for vans and commercial vehicles (LCV experience is essential).
- Proven organisational skills, with the capacity to handle multiple sales enquiries, administrative duties, and follow-ups efficiently.
- IT literacy and experience using CRM and sales management systems (training provided).
- Collaborative team player with a positive attitude, aligned with Mercedes-Benz values of inclusivity, excellence, and customer focus.
- Previous experience in automotive, B2B, or retail sales preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Provide an engaging, knowledgeable, and attentive sales service to all Mercedes-Benz van customers, from first contact through to handover and beyond.
- Fully qualify leads, conduct needs analysis, and propose vehicle solutions tailored to individual or business requirements.
- Present and demonstrate Mercedes-Benz LCV products and services, including finance and aftersales options, both in-person and digitally.
- Manage all aspects of the sales process: new vehicle orders, test drives, part-exchange appraisals, quotations, negotiations, and completion of documentation.
- Consistently deliver against personal and dealership sales targets, maintaining Mercedes-Benz's exceptional standards of customer care and compliance.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge, participating in brand and model training, and share updates with colleagues and customers.
- Represent Mercedes-Benz of Dartford with professionalism and integrity at all times, supporting the dealership's reputation for customer satisfaction.
