  • Provide direct support to students with SEN, both inside and outside the classroom, to help them access the curriculum and participate fully in school life.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher and the SEN Coordinator to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Adapt learning materials and activities to suit the specific needs of the students you are supporting.
  • Monitor and record student progress, reporting observations back to the teaching staff and parents.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.
What We're Looking For
  • Patience and Empathy: The ability to understand and respond to the unique challenges faced by students with SEN.
  • Proactive Attitude: A self-starter who can anticipate needs and take initiative.
  • Strong Communication Skills: The ability to effectively communicate with students, teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Team Player: Someone who can work collaboratively as part of a wider educational team.
  • Relevant Experience: Previous experience working with children or young people, particularly those with special educational needs, is a plus.
