Following the publication of the 10 Year Plan Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust (HDFT) is looking for an individual to lead on our partnership working opportunities.The Senior Partnerships Manager will be responsible for providing an effective strategy and partnerships function that takes account of national and local strategic and partnership programmes and requirements. The postholder will lead on the design and implementation of the Trust's Partnerships Corporate Project, focusing on developing shared clinical pathways and HDFT's role as a Neighbourhood partners.Main duties of the jobThe post-holder will:
  • Oversee HDFT's role within neighbourhood working, including representing the Trust at external partnership meetings and project managing a neighbourhood workstream with key internal and external partners
  • Develop the Trust's relationship with other acute providers to re-design and transform clinical services, including working with the West Yorkshire Association of Acute Trusts and the Humber and North Yorkshire Collaborative of Acute Providers
  • Support work to ensure that the organisation's strategic vision, aims and objectives relating to partnerships remain relevant and up to date and in line with the 10 Year Plan
  • Serve as a main point of contact for partner organisations and providers to address and respond to enquiries, requests, and concerns, with the aim of fostering positive working relationships.
  • Ensure awareness and understanding of emerging national and regional policies within the Trust's corporate leadership teams.
  • Identify ways and helping to build on the capacity and capabilities of the Trust and partner organisations through knowledge sharing, skill development, and resource sharing where appropriate.
  • Stay informed about innovative partnership models and best practices in healthcare industry, integrating new ideas and approaches into the Trust's partnership strategies.

  • Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent.
  • Experience in reviewing national policy and designing programmes of work to implement changes within local services
  • Experience of managing complex services and/or projects to implement change

  • Project management qualification or equivalent experience.
