  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with various special educational needs, including but not limited to autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and physical disabilities.
  • Assist the class teacher in preparing and adapting learning materials to meet the individual needs of students.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel safe, valued, and encouraged.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the class teacher and SEN coordinator.
  • Support students with their personal care needs and help them develop independent living skills where required.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each child's development.
What We're Looking For
  • A genuine passion for working with children and a strong commitment to their well-being.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or working with individuals with Special Educational Needs.
  • Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to be a flexible and supportive team player.
  • A proactive and resilient approach to new challenges.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, are desirable but not essential.
