Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-on-one and small-group support to students, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals.
- Assisting the class teacher in planning and preparing lessons, adapting materials to meet individual student needs.
- Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to feel safe and confident.
- Monitoring and recording student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Helping with personal care and mobility needs when required.
- Experience: Previous experience working with children or young people with special educational needs is highly desirable.
- Patience and Empathy: The ability to understand and respond to the unique needs of each student with kindness and compassion.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
