An opportunity has arisen to join the friendly, busy MSK physiotherapy outpatient service, at St Austell Community Hospital, as a member of Admin and Clerical team.We pride ourselves on delivering high quality care and are committed to living our values in all our work:Compassions, Happiness, Ownership, Integrity, Connection and Equity.We are a team of MSK physiotherapists who accept and manage referrals from consultants, GPs, other healthcare professionals and self referral. The main role is to provide patient facing reception and administrative cover to a busy outpatient physiotherapy department.This job is currently only open to people who already work for the NHS in Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly. If you do not currently work for one of these NHS organisations, your application will not be considered at this time.Main duties of the jobThe role involves organising clinics, letter writing, making and receiving telephone calls to organise appointments, ordering, data entry and managing our electronic booking and patient notes system RIO.You will need to be computer literate. You will be required to work using your own initiative within a busy team, with the ability to organise and prioritise work efficiently. You must be able to communicate well and have an adaptable and flexible attitude to your work.Although, this post will be mainly based in St Austell physio OPD, there maybe an occasional requirement to cover Newquay and Bodmin physio OPD as our admin team work across both departments covering the Restormel team and North Cornwall.About usWe're an NHS community and mental health provider Trust based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
