If you do not currently work for one of these NHS organisations, your application will not be considered at this time.An opportunity has arisen for a part time Band 4 Physiotherapy assistant to support the community therapy team currently based at St Austell community hospital.We are looking for someone who has current experience already working as a band 4 physiotherapy support worker, ideally in the community with adults with physical disability/illness or a band 3 support worker looking to develop their skills.The post is community based working predominantly in patients own homes along with appointments in care homes and hospital gym facilitiesThe post holder will work closely with Occupational therapy colleagues and be part of the transformation towards neighbourhood working .https://youtu.be/AAw8fv32fP8Main duties of the jobto post holder will be expected to hold a clinical caseload and be confident loan working in the communityThe post holder will need to be able to access appointments in patients homes many of which are in rural locationsThe post holder will need to be confident to both assess and provide waling aids to and to plan and carry out exercise programmesAbout usWe're an NHS community and mental health provider Trust based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
