- Biomedical Science (Hons) degree or acceptable equivalent with top up
- Registered as a Biomedical Scientist with the HCPC and maintains professional registration
- Has undertaken formal management training or attained a management qualification
- Has at least 6 years' post registration experience
- MSc or FIBMS equivalent
- Fellowship of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences
- Evidence of formal audit training
- Has specialist knowledge across a range of work procedures and practices underpinned by theoretical knowledge.
- Understands and works within the remit of the Trust's confidentiality policy and Professional Codes of Conduct.
- Participates in Continuing Professional Development and initiates methods of flexible learning to assist in the self-development process.
- Undertakes training which may be deemed appropriate for personal, professional and service development.
- Has at least 6 years' post registration experience.
- Previous experience of laboratory accreditation assessment
- Previous experience of amendments to laboratory scope of practice
- Experience of recruitment process
- Demonstratable involvement in quality improvement or change management projects
- Biomedical Science (Hons) degree or acceptable equivalent with top up
- Registered as a Biomedical Scientist with the HCPC and maintains professional registration
