Salary: £90 – £120 per day (depending on experience)About the Role:
A welcoming and supportive SEND school in Milton Keynes is seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant to work with pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). The role involves delivering personalised support, assisting with therapies, and creating an environment where all pupils can thrive and achieve their personal goals.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and group support to pupils with PMLD
- Assist with learning activities, sensory play, and communication strategies
- Support personal care needs and therapy programmes as required
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure consistent support
- Encourage independence, confidence, and engagement in learning
- Experience working with PMLD, SLD, or complex needs (preferred)
- Patient, caring, and adaptable approach to learning support
- Willingness to assist with personal care where necessary
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
