Contract: Locum – 3 months initially

Working Pattern: Monday – Friday, 9am–5pm (some flexible working available)

This is a vital role within a busy, multi-disciplinary setting, offering the chance to support older adults with complex mental health needs and make a tangible difference in their day-to-day lives.You will need to bring solid experience from within a CMHT setting and be confident completing complex assessments and care planning under the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act frameworks.What You Can Expect:Office base at Royal Oldham Hospital (OL1 2JH)Supportive, well-established multi-disciplinary teamOffice-based working with some flexible arrangements possibleClear structure and manageable caseloadCommitment to best practice for older adults with mental health needsDuties and Responsibilities:Complete Care Act Assessments and Mental Capacity AssessmentsDevelop personalised support and risk management plansUndertake Section 117 and Mental Health Act reviewsLiaise closely with medical professionals, families, and care providersRespond to safeguarding concerns appropriatelyContribute to effective discharge planning and community supportRequirements:SWE RegistrationSocial Work qualificationSignificant post-qualified experience in a CMHTKnowledge of the Care Act, MCA, and Mental Health ActCar user – essentialStrong assessment, recording, and multi-agency working skillsIf you are an experienced mental health practitioner looking for your next opportunity to support older people and work as part of a highly skilled team, we’d love to hear from you.Contact Details:
