- Learn the skills identified in the Public Health Skills and Knowledge Framework (2016) from experts in the field, both in theory and practice.
- Combine traditional academic learning with work-based learning through employment in a public health role.
- Be paid a LLW salary whilst you train and attend university.
- Work proactively to make a positive contribution to the delivery of the service. This will include working flexibly and positively to achieve the objectives of the Council.
- Collaborate and share knowledge with all colleagues to create and support effective and productive working relationships.
- Work under the Council's performance management scheme and will be expected to develop, in conjunction with their line manager, their key result areas, and personal development plan.
- Be expected to work outside of normal working hours on occasions (08.00 to 18.00). This may include working at weekends.
- You must be a resident in Brent
- You must have an English and Maths GCSE L4 or grade C and above.
- Good IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is desirable.
