You will have the opportunity to work both virtually and in person, gaining experience of our universal services and targeted offer within the community.There is an expectation that on successful appointment to this development role, you will commit to undertake the Registered Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) degree course within 3 years of joining us (depending on your readiness, and availability of the course).Please note that this role requires you to be able to travel to visit various bases, other services, and families at home. Post holder will be supported to develop skills and knowledge appropriate for application to the Specialist Community Public Health Nurse course.To develop the knowledge and skills to assess, plan, implement and evaluatepackages of care in order to deliver early interventions to families in line with our commissioned service.To support families through a range of methods including home visits, digital drop-in clinics, virtual and phone contacts to assess the needs of children and their families.To work with the locality teams to support children, young people and families who are considered to be vulnerable or at risk.
