- Strategic Leadership - Design and deliver exceptional fraud prevention strategies that protect both our customers and Zopa, balancing security with the seamless experience our customers love
- Build and maintain our fraud risk framework, ensuring we stay within fraud budget while supporting ambitious business growth
- Act as Zopa's fraud subject matter expert, advising stakeholders on emerging trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices
- Support the business in the roll out of new products/process
- Cross-functional Impact - Partner with Product, Tech, Operations, and Risk teams across both First and Second Lines of Defence to embed fraud prevention and detection into everything we build
- Transform fraud insights into actionable strategies, working with data to identify best in class fraud strategies and create enhanced controls
- Champion industry collaboration, building and maintaining strong networks and partnerships to keep Zopa at the forefront of fraud prevention
- Hands-on Delivery - Deep dive into fraud performance across all products, identifying risks and opportunities for enhancement
- Conduct root cause analysis to uncover emerging threats and drive continuous improvement
- Develop roadmaps for control enhancements and oversee their delivery
- Ensure our fraud strategies and controls meet current and future regulatory requirements; including the accurate submission of regulatory reporting
- You're a fraud prevention expert who thrives on solving complex problems and turning challenges into opportunities. You combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, and you're energised by working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Proven track record of defining and delivering fraud prevention strategies across first party fraud, third party fraud, and Authorised Pushed Payment fraud and Account Takeover
- Experience working in financial services or consultancy, with deep expertise in fraud detection and prevention
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate insights from data and communicate them to diverse audiences
- Excellence in stakeholder management - you can navigate competing priorities and manage expectations under pressure
- Love working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems
- Can translate technical fraud concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences
- Have experience optimising operational processes to enhance fraud frameworks
- Are passionate about protecting customers while enabling great experiences
