As a Sports Coach, this role is perfect for someone who can inspire pupils through physical activity, build confidence, and promote positive attitudes towards teamwork, health, and wellbeing.Responsibilities as a Sports Coach:
- Plan and deliver engaging sports and physical education sessions.
- Support pupils’ physical development and encourage active, healthy lifestyles.
- Foster teamwork, discipline, and confidence through structured sports activities.
- Assist with behaviour management and provide support during classroom sessions where needed.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate sports into wider learning objectives.
- Support pupils during extracurricular clubs, sports events, and break times.
- Previous experience coaching or working with children or young people is desirable.
- A recognised sports coaching qualification is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent communication, motivational, and leadership skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
