As a Sports Coach, you will plan and lead sports sessions that encourage teamwork, build confidence, and promote a healthy, active lifestyle.Responsibilities as Sports Coach:
- Plan and deliver sports sessions that engage and challenge pupils of all abilities.
- Promote teamwork, fair play, and positive attitudes toward physical activity.
- Support pupils in developing skills, confidence, and resilience through sport.
- Encourage participation, motivation, and enjoyment in a safe and inclusive environment.
- Work alongside teaching staff to integrate physical activities into the broader curriculum.
- Previous experience delivering sports coaching in schools or community settings is desirable.
- Strong communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
- Energetic, confident, and able to inspire young people.
- Ability to adapt sessions to meet the needs of different age groups and abilities.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
