The Group Executive Team Member (GEPT) is responsible for providing personal protective security to members of the Group Operating Committee, Holdings Boards, and Non-Executive Directors (Principals), as well as their families and residences. The role ensures the safety of Principals through the delivery of Close Protection, Counter Surveillance, Residential Security, and Travel Security services, while maintaining discretion and professionalism at all times. - Deliver Close Protection (CP) services to Principals during business and personal activities, both in the UK and overseas.
- Conduct counter-surveillance operations to detect, assess, and respond to potential hostile activity.
- Drive Principals using defensive and evasive driving techniques during transits (valid driving licence mandatory).
- Maintain and deliver residential security capability, including emergency call-out response.
- Extract Principals to safety in the event of an incident and provide medical assistance where required.
- Prepare threat and risk assessments, operation orders, and post-operation reports.
- Provide security advice and support to Group employees facing elevated personal risks.
- Liaise with Personal Assistants, households, regional security teams, law enforcement, and external security providers to ensure cohesive protection arrangements.
- Ensure compliance with Group security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain operational readiness through ongoing training, skills refreshers, and equipment preparation.
- Valid driving licence – mandatory.
- Valid SIA Close Protection licence (frontline).
- Knowledge of BS 8507-1 and BS 8507-2 standards for Close Protection.
- Strong CP experience protecting high-net-worth individuals or senior executives.
- Proven experience delivering CP, surveillance detection, and evasive driving in both UK and international settings.
- Medical training to at least MIRA or FREC3 level.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
