We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Materials & Inventory Coordinator to oversee stock management, materials allocation, and the smooth operation of the stores function. This hands-on role will provide vital support to both workshop and field-based teams, ensuring that resources are available where and when needed to keep projects on track.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and log all incoming deliveries while maintaining up-to-date inventory recordsStore, label, and organise all stock in an orderly and secure mannerDistribute materials to ongoing projects and inform relevant personnel upon arrivalPrepare goods for dispatch and arrange transportation as requiredKeep the workshop and yard tidy, organised, and safe at all timesUse forklift equipment for loading and unloading (training can be provided)Coordinate with suppliers regarding pick-ups, drop-offs, and delivery timelinesAssist with the implementation of lean inventory processes, such as Kanban systemsAdhere to all health, safety, and quality requirements consistentlyRequirementsPrevious experience in a warehouse, stores, or materials management roleStrong organisational skills with the ability to communicate effectivelyCurrent forklift licence or willingness to obtain oneCompetent IT skills, including use of stock management software and Microsoft OfficeFull UK driving licenceKnowledge of engineering or construction materials is advantageousFor further information on this opportunity, or any other jobs in Belfast or wider Northern Ireland, please apply via the link below or contact Jack Groves via VANRATH.JP was very helpful, patient and thoughtful during the selection process, he thought through the best fit for the role and selected candidates accordingly.I messaged Vanrath on LinkedIn in hopes of attaining a new job and he was immediately helpful, setting up a face to face meeting to discuss my options in order to source a company that was right for me.
