We are seeking a dependable and organised Materials & Inventory Coordinator to take ownership of stock control, material distribution, and the efficient running of the stores function. This hands-on role will support both workshop and on-site operations, ensuring materials are in the right place at the right time to meet project demands.Main DutiesAccept, check, and record all deliveries; maintain accurate stock recordsEnsure correct storage, labelling, and organisation of materialsAllocate items to active projects and notify relevant teams when receivedPrepare outgoing goods and arrange transport as requiredMaintain a clean and orderly workshop and yard environmentOperate forklift equipment for loading/unloading (training provided if needed)Liaise with suppliers regarding collections, deliveries, and schedulesSupport the introduction of lean stock control systems, including Kanban methodsWork to all health, safety, and quality standards at all timesEssential CriteriaExperience in a stores, warehouse, or materials handling positionStrong organisational skills and effective communication abilitiesValid forklift licence (or willingness to undertake training)IT literate with experience using inventory software and Microsoft OfficeFull UK driving licenceFamiliarity with engineering or construction materials is an advantageFor further information on this opportunity, or any other jobs in Belfast or wider Northern Ireland, please apply via the link below or contact Jack Groves via VANRATH.
