Are you a dynamic and visionary advanced clinical practitioner looking for a unique leadership opportunity to shape the future of advanced practice across a major NHS Group?We are excited to invite applications for a Group Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP) Lead to join our senior team on a fixed-term basis. This role will provide strategic and operational leadership for the development, implementation, and sustainability of a high-quality multi-professional advanced clinical practice workforce across our partner organisations. This post will initially serve Liverpool University Hospitals Foundation Trust (LUHFT) and Liverpool Women's Hospital (LWH).The ideal candidate will be a qualified ACP with a strong clinical background across professional groups, experienced in senior clinical leadership and workforce transformation. A deep understanding of ACP education, regulatory frameworks, and clinical governance is essential, alongside excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills. Flexibility to work across multiple sites and at a system level is required.Main duties of the jobAs the Group Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP) Lead, you will provide expert leadership and strategic oversight for advanced clinical practice across the Group. You will support the Group Chief Nurse and key stakeholders in delivering an innovative and aligned ACP workforce strategy.Leading the ACP Steering Group, you will represent the Group at local, regional, and national levels. You will drive workforce transformation by collaborating with senior leadership teams to develop the ACP workforce across medical, AHP, nursing, and midwifery professions.Ensuring compliance with national policies and frameworks, including HEE's Multi-professional Framework and the NHS People Plan, you will oversee education, governance, competency assessment, and professional development for trainee and established ACPs.
