- Developing a rapid understanding of target businesses and key drivers.
- Collaborating closely with due diligence teams to identify and mitigate risks.
- Reviewing transaction documentation, including sale and purchase agreements (SPAs), financial information, and draft completion accounts.
- Specifically, analysing accounting policies and definitions within the SPA.
- Preparing and reviewing draft completion accounts, dispute notices, and counter-arguments based on SPA parameters.
- Delivering clear, actionable recommendations to clients.
- Managing project timelines, budgets, and client communication effectively.
- Proactively identifying and managing project risks.
- Ensuring high-quality deliverables are produced within agreed deadlines.
- Briefing Partners/Directors on project progress and key findings.
- Contributing to marketing initiatives and practice development activities. (e.g. client presentations, account management).
- Identifying and pursuing sales opportunities.
- ACA qualification or equivalent
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on conciseness and risk management
- Strong commercial acumen and assertive personality to thrive under pressure
