- Manage the credit control function to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices.
- Develop and implement credit control policies and procedures.
- Monitor customer accounts to identify and resolve overdue balances.
- Prepare regular reports on cash flow, debtors, and credit risks for senior management.
- Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to manage customer credit limits.
- Negotiate payment plans and settlement terms with clients when necessary.
- Conduct credit checks for new and existing customers to assess financial reliability.
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and internal controls.
- Proven experience in credit control within the accounting and finance sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data accurately.
- Proficiency in credit control systems and financial software.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and internal teams.
- A solid understanding of accounting principles and regulatory compliance.
- Problem-solving skills to address and resolve financial discrepancies.
