- Develop and contribute to growth strategies for Haskoning with a primary focus on maritime asset management services and resources, applying ISO 55000 Asset Management methodologies, inspections, and digital tooling.
- Create and deliver products and services for our key markets within ports, shipyards, harbours, defence, and offshore wind.
- Identify and develop internal and external opportunities for new maritime asset management projects by proactively engaging with clients, regional business developers and key account managers throughout our global Water & Maritime (W&M) business line.
- Drive the asset management discipline across our business and, in doing so, mentor our junior team members. You will engage with other specialists to enhance services such as inspections, building information modelling (BIM), Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and structural health monitoring (SHM),
- Design and deliver projects and act as a subject matter expert for work such as:
- Reviewing maritime clients’ asset management (AM) systems and maturity according to ISO 55000 or other relevant standards or guidance.
- Producing and improving AM policies, frameworks, strategies (SAMPs), and plans (AMPs); supporting Change Management, and setting appropriate KPIs to support strategic or tactical decision-making.
- Asset information management, from hierarchical asset registers and supporting asset handover (e.g., via BIM) to providing quality information for CMMS and enabling Digital Twin solutions.
- Analysis of condition, performance, and/or cost data; and advising on digital sensors/tools.
- Advising on ways to improve asset or portfolio maintenance, performance, or resilience.
- A degree in a relevant area
- Between 5-10 years’ experience in asset management for an industrial infrastructure-based organisation, such as ports, railways, airports, transport, oil & gas, heavy manufacturing, automotive, or similar.
- Experience in asset management planning, strategy implementation or development.
- Experience with relevant asset management standards, particularly PAS55 and/or ISO 55000.
- Membership of a relevant professional body, such as IAM, IPM, ICE, IMechE.
- Experience in the maritime sector (preferred but not essential).
- Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills; and
- Communication skills, preferably across international teams.
