This is a pivotal role that will help shape the future of healthcare delivery across the Trust and across Wales.The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.Main duties of the jobAs Senior Project Manager, you will:Lead and manage a portfolio of complex projects that support the delivery of VBHC across the Trust.Drive the development and governance of the Value Intelligence Centre, ensuring transparency, benefit tracking, and the sharing of best practice.Collaborate with clinical, digital, and operational teams to implement innovative, data-driven solutions that improve patient outcomes and optimise resource use.Champion VBHC principles and support the education and engagement of colleagues across the organisation.At Velindre, we are proud to be at the forefront of Value Based Healthcare.   • Project Management Practitioner Qualification (e.g. PRINCE2) or equivalent experience

  • Knowledge of PROMs and licensing requirements
  • Working knowledge of the NHS and national developments and policy initiatives
  • Understanding and knowledge of health service terminology and information requirements
ExperienceEssential
  • Experience in managing change successfully
  • Experience of project managing a portfolio of projects ranging in complexity
  • Experience of evaluating the quality of project outputs against agreed acceptance criteria

  • Evidence of working within health and in partnership with local authorities and third sector organisations at both operational and strategic levels
  • Experience of working with the public/patients/service users
  • Experience of implementing Value Based Healthcare projects that involves implementation of PROMS

  • Able to utilise Office 365 software packages to an intermediate or higher level
  • Ability to problem solve including critical questioning and innovative thinking
