Duration: 3+ YearsWe are working with a leading Tier 1 main building contractor who are seeking a Building Services Manager with an electrical background to join their team on a flagship £300m project in Cardiff.The Role
- Reporting directly to the MEP Lead on a major new-build scheme.
- Managing the electrical building services package across all aspects of the project lifecycle.
- Coordinating design, procurement, installation, and commissioning activities.
- Overseeing subcontractors and ensuring work is delivered to programme, quality, and H&S standards.
- Liaising with stakeholders, consultants, and the wider project team.
- Supporting value engineering, problem solving, and ensuring technical compliance.
- Strong background in building services, ideally degree or HNC/HND qualified in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a Building Services Manager role, or as a Senior Electrical Engineer looking to step up.
- Proven track record on large-scale construction projects (major commercial, healthcare, education, or mixed-use schemes).
- Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
