The practice owner is a testament to the achievement she puts into her teams progression and development. Initially qualifying as a nursing assistant in 2006 before qualifying as a vet from the RVC in 2017.
Both the practice manager and owner are trained Mental Health First Aiders and along with the clinical team, are supported by a brilliant client care team as well as 5 RVNs, 1 of which is their Nursing Clinical Lead, 1 SVN, a Pharmacy Assistant and 1 VCA.
They are an approved training practice, with the owner/vet surgeon being a vet GDP advisor as well.All team members have excellent relationships with the incredible client base, providing a varied and growing case load including small furries, exotics and dentistry.
They are a diverse team so depending on your own individual style, their consult times vary. However, breaks and an hour lunch break are always included in the day. It is important that you feel included, so regular catchups will be scheduled in after morning consults, with time to share your thoughts and ideas.
Full and Part time hours will be considered, for the right candidate, with a minimum of 1 in 4 Saturdays (9am-12pm). There is no OOHs required with this role, and they do their best to finish appointments half an hour before closing so that there is time to catchup and get away on time!They do their best to be flexible and offer the facilities to support your ideas and areas of interests so due to the nature of the role and fantastic team you'll be joining, they are welcoming of applicants at all levels of experience.
You must be RCVS registered, ideally with strong clinical skills and a surgical bias although they will consider new graduates as the practice is forever-growing.
