Are you a highly motivated Individual and looking for a new challenge?A fantastic opportunity has arisen for Social Care Officer posts to work within our Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Teams and Preparation for Adulthood team at North Lincolnshire Council.We have two full time vacancies of 37 hours per week in the Scunthorpe Central team, one full time vacancy in the Brigg, Barton and Isle team and one full time vacancy in the Preparation for Adulthood team.Do you have experience of working directly with those who have Mental Health and/or Learning Disability needs?As a Social Care Officer you will need to provide person centred, strength-based assessments and care plans which focus on maintaining independence.You will need to be able to work autonomously and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills. You will need to have effective communication and organisation skills as well as the skills in negotiation and use of IT systems and the ability to work under pressure.North Lincolnshire is a rural county with picturesque villages and within easy reach of the North East and the East Midlands.
