- Create, release, and manage production works orders in SAP based on manufacturing schedules and demand forecasts.
- Monitor order progress and ensure timely closure of completed works orders.
- Coordinate with production and planning teams to resolve discrepancies or delays.2. Master Data Maintenance
- Maintain accurate material master data, BOMs, routings, and work centres.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with site-specific manufacturing standards.3. Inventory and Materials Management
- Support inventory transactions including goods receipts, goods issues, and stock transfers.
- Monitor stock levels and assist in resolving inventory variances.
- Collaborate with warehouse and procurement teams to ensure material availability.4. System Support and Troubleshooting
- Act as the first point of contact for SAP-related issues on site.
- Troubleshoot and resolve user errors, system bugs, and transactional issues.
- Liaise with IT or SAP support teams for escalated issues.5. Reporting and Analytics
- Generate and distribute SAP reports related to production, inventory, and order status.
- Support KPI tracking and continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis.6. Compliance and Audit Support
- Ensure SAP transactions comply with internal controls and audit requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by providing relevant SAP data and documentation.7. Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline SAP processes and improve system efficiency.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance manufacturing operations through SAP.
- Proficiency in SAP, particularly in production planning and procurement modules.
- Previous experience in the industrial/manufacturing sector is highly beneficial.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
- Basic knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes.
- Competency in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Competitive hourly pay circa £17.86, depending on experience.
