Operating in 100 countries, we have 330,000 lifts worldwide using our technology. With 2 manufacturing plants Orona is Number 1 in Europe in terms of complete lift production capacity.We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our Service Team working within Birmingham and the surrounding areas. We are looking for an individual with a customer-focused can-do attitude, someone with a proven track record within a target driven environment.Experience within the lift or construction industry would be beneficial. We are looking for a motivated team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.Responsibilities:
  • Building effective relationships with existing and new customers
  • Prospecting for new customers to secure maintenance contracts in accordance with annual targets.
  • Lead meetings and negotiations
  • Generating proposals and managing enquiries for service contracts
  • Expanding product knowledge, sourcing market and competitor information
  • Using your knowledge of the lifts and/or construction industry to negotiate skilfully to win concessions
  • Work closely with the regional service teams to retain our existing customer base
  • Recording activity through the Orona in-house management systems.
