
Business Development Manager - Financial Services (14 Month FTC)

- Support the successful delivery of the practice strategy collaborating with counterparts in EMEA and APAC to ensure global connectivity and knowledge sharing.
- Work with the practice and Industry teams and key cross-practice partners on the full suite of business development activities, prioritising opportunities for revenue growth in line with the firm's strategic plan.
- Coach and support partner teams to drive strategic market facing initiatives to meet the business plan goals, evaluating progress on implementation.
- Utilise market and client insights to keep up to date with current and emerging issues impacting the industry. Identify areas of client need and opportunities for lead generation, with the goal of deepening our client relationships and market penetration.
- Strategic decision making and planning (go / no go) as well as contributing and controlling the drafting and coordination of pitches and tenders
- Advising on marketing and business development plans for practice areas and lawyers to achieve growth and market recognition
- Previous experience in professional services / industry business development environment.
- Demonstrated experience of managing projects and/or initiatives.
- Commercial awareness and an innovative mind-set for developing and evolving ways of working.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build trusting relationships with the partnership and business services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to effectively interact with peers and influence internal clients including senior stakeholders.
- Ability to influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation.
