Senior Credit ControllerFull-time | PermanentVANRATH is delighted to be working in partnership with a reputable and expanding organisation that plays a vital role across a wide network of essential services. They are currently seeking a Senior Credit Controller to join their finance team and take the lead in managing credit operations and income processes.What You'll Do
  • Oversee the complete credit control function, including ledger management and cash allocation
  • Take ownership of overdue and disputed accounts, negotiating appropriate repayment solutions
  • Work closely with both internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve complex billing and funding issues
  • Ensure accurate and timely invoicing by liaising with operational teams
  • Maintain detailed records, including reconciliations, aged debtor reports, and analysis schedules
  • Drive continuous improvement within the credit and income processes

About You
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in credit control or sales ledger within a busy finance function
  • Strong background managing complex or high-value customer accounts
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Confident with numbers and detail-oriented, with solid problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable using finance systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently while meeting deadlines
