About the roleVANRATH are delighted to partnered with a significant employer in Greater Belfast in their recruitment of an Interim Financial Controller. This interim finance opportunity offers the chance to step into a senior role supporting a complex set of operations. You'll be working closely with senior finance leaders to support group reporting, project delivery, and financial planning. The role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to drive process improvements.This is an initial 6 month contract, that will play an important role in a large group setting.   • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 3+ years PQE
  • Strong background in financial reporting and audit support
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
  • Able to engage senior stakeholders and manage change effectively
  • Experience with SAP and in complex or regulated industries
What you'll do
  • Manage handover and transition of core finance duties
  • Deliver monthly group reporting and assist with external audit queries
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and working capital analysis
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial submissions and KPI tracking
  • Identify process improvements and contribute to ongoing efficiency projects
