(manufacturers of In vitro Medical Devices) are currently recruiting for an Finance Assistant.Job Role:As our Finance Assistant your main role is to support the finance department in managing the financial transactions of the company.Main Responsibilities:Transactional processing, investigating and resolving of issues covering the following areas:
- Purchase Ledger
- Sales Ledger
- Cashbook
- Employee expenses
- Credit control
- Supplier Reconciliation and analysis
- Bank Reconciliation
- Payment runs
- Variety of administrative tasks to assist finance department
- Ordering office and general supplies
- Clerical duties – checking, scanning and filing of documents
- Answering incoming calls
- Greeting visitors when they arrive at reception
- Carry out all duties and responsibilities to the company standard within the timescales required.
- Maintain compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with QMS policies and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with GDPR and Cyber Security policies and procedures.
- Perform any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as required
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience of working in a finance department
- AAT/HNC or equivalent qualifications
- Experience with purchase ledger
- Excellent attention to detail
