Acting as the bridge between design, commercial, and delivery teams, the individual will take ownership of early-stage planning, ensuring projects are commercially viable, technically robust, and aligned with client expectations. Responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing and managing budgets, cost plans, and risk assessments
  • Developing project programmes to align design, procurement, and delivery stages
  • Securing statutory and landlord approvals to ensure compliance
  • Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to anticipate challenges and provide proactive solutions
  • Establishing the framework that enables seamless project execution
REQUIREMENTSThe successful candidate will bring:
  • Demonstrable experience in pre-construction or project planning, ideally within the commercial fit-out or design-and-build sector
  • Strong commercial skills, including budgeting, estimating, and financial control
  • Knowledge of landlord approval processes, building regulations, and compliance within commercial interiors
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Professional qualifications such as RICS, CIOB, or APS (or equivalent experience) are desirable
