
Application Packaging and Deployment Engineer (SC Cleared)

- Package, test, and deploy applications using SCCM and Intune to ensure efficient, standardised, and compliant software delivery across the enterprise
- Application packaging using AdminStudio, InstallShield, and PowerShell
- Maintain naming conventions and package standards
- Migrate legacy apps to MSIX or Intune-based deployment
- Deploy and troubleshoot applications via SCCM and Intune
- Maintain deployment infrastructure (collections, boundaries, DPs)
- Work across pre-prod and production to ensure consistent rollout
- Documentation and knowledge sharing with internal teams
- Participate in change management and governance activities
- 2nd/3rd line incident resolution
- Raise changes and attend CAB meetings
- Collaboration with deployment specialists and continual improvement focus
- Escalate issues including coordination with multiple teams and vendor
- Prepare the incident report / root cause analysis reports
- Adhering to SLAs
- Handling Tickets / Requests
- Should be ready to work in shifts and out of hours (based on project requirement)
- UK SC Clearance – Mandatory
- Proven experience in packaging (MSI, App-V, Intune)
- Strong command of SCCM (Current Branch)
- PowerShell, VBScript, and Batch scripting
- Knowledge of Windows 10/11, AD, and Group Policy
- E3 Level Skills in: Windows Imaging, SCCM, PowerShell, and MDT
- E3 experience in packaging (MSI, App-V, Intune)
- Strong command of SCCM (Current Branch)
- E3 experience in PowerShell, VBScript, and Batch scripting
- E2 Knowledge of Windows 10/11, AD, and Group Policy
- Experience with Intune, Autopilot, Conditional Access Application Packaging and Deployment experience via SCCM and Intune
- Interpersonal sensitivity and customer responsiveness
- Ability to communicate complex technical contents plainly and simply
- Good Hardware knowledge and troubleshooting experience
- Excellent documentation skills for user training and technical documents
- Microsoft Certifications (MCSA, MD-102)
- ITIL Foundation
- Experience in regulated/enterprise environments
- Good understanding and working experience in Agile Way of Working (DevOps Based Model)
- Experience of delivering Cloud based solutions across a large enterprise
- Provide “on-call” support after business hours and during weekends
- Traveling to other Client Sites as per Project requirement (within UK)
- Should be flexible with Multiple Shifts as and when required
- Handling severity incident, availability for on-call (on ROTA basis)
