- Lead and develop a small but high-performing finance team.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements including FRS102, PPERA (2000), VAT, PAYE, and Corporation Tax.
- Oversee robust financial systems for income, payments, and reporting.
- Support the Head of Commercial Projects with commercial negotiations and manage ongoing contractual commitments.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
- Produce timely management accounts and departmental financial performance reports.
- Act as the main contact for external auditors and manage audit processes.
- Qualified Finance professional ACCA / CIMA
- Proven leadership in finance within a complex organisation.
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP, FRS102, and financial compliance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with financial systems and controls.
