- Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring high performance and development
- Oversee the production of monthly management accounts and financial reporting
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and liaise with external auditors
- Develop and maintain financial controls and processes
- Provide commercial insight and support strategic planning
- Partner with operational teams to drive business performance
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
- Proven experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role within an SME
- Strong technical and commercial acumen
- Experience managing and developing finance staff
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Hands-on approach with the ability to operate strategically and tactically
