As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of cost and commercial management services on a variety of projects. You will oversee client relationships, manage junior colleagues and ensure that projects are delivered to the highest standards of value, compliance and financial control. Key responsibilities include:Preparing and managing cost estimates, budgets and cash flow forecastsLeading contract administration and ensuring compliance with commercial proceduresManaging procurement processes, tendering and bid evaluationReviewing and agreeing variations, valuations and final accountsProviding strategic cost advice and reporting to clients and stakeholdersMentoring and supporting junior members of the teamThe Person
To be successful in this role, you should have:Demonstrable experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor in construction, infrastructure or consultancy environmentsStrong knowledge of standard forms of contract (NEC, JCT or similar)Excellent communication and client-facing skills with the ability to lead relationshipsGood leadership and mentoring ability to support junior colleaguesA degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline, with professional membership (or working towards chartership) highly desirableThe PackageSalary of £47,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experienceHybrid working model with flexibility between office, site and homeProfessional development support, including chartership and ongoing trainingComprehensive benefits package and clear progression opportunitiesApply Now
