
Senior Finance Manager

- Lead on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting with insightful analysis and commentary.
- Partner with operational teams to identify risks, opportunities, and innovative solutions that enhance business performance.
- Take ownership of management information and ensure robust financial control policies are in place.
- Provide financial expertise in contract management, billing, and external stakeholder meetings.
- Support growth by appraising new business opportunities and preparing board-level submissions.
- Line manage, coach, and develop a small finance team, building capability and supporting their progression.
- Be a visible leader and trusted adviser, working collaboratively across functions to deliver results.
- A qualified accountant background with extensive post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Strong commercial acumen with proven success in contract review, negotiations, and operational finance.
- Demonstrable skills in financial modelling, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders in a matrix organisation.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence with financial systems (experience with Business World is an advantage).
- Line management experience with a genuine passion for coaching and developing people.
