Job Description:Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Finance Manager to join an exciting Retail company experiencing steady growth based in Frome. For the right person the client is offering a very competitive:£50,000 - £60,000 plus excellent benefitsRole responsibilities will include but not limited to:
  • Maintain strong accounting controls and ensure all transactions are processed in purchase ledger and sales ledger with team of three direct reports
  • Preparation of good quality management accounts to present back to the CEO
  • Review and submit VAT returns
  • Maintain and update a rolling 13-week cash flow forecast, identifying variances and advising management on cash requirements
  • Produce regular management reports for the CEO as part of the companies management team, providing insights on financial performance, cash flow, and company and project profitability
  • Support the preparation of annual accounts and regulatory returns in conjunction with external auditors and management accounts teams
  • Monitor company bank accounts and cash balances daily, flagging any issues to management and ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs
Person specification:
  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or QBE
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with exposure to management accounting, credit control, and cashiering functions
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in accounting software, spreadsheets, and financial reporting tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
