- Assembling and fitting mechanical components and sub-assemblies for Robotic test machines.
- Manufacturing parts using milling machines and lathes along with other general workshop equipment to ensure product quality and precision.
- Interpreting technical drawings and assembly instructions to ensure components are correctly fitted.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Collaborating with other team members to troubleshoot issues and improve machine performance.
- Carrying out a multitude of assembly and fitting procedures with good dexterity as we have several assemblies that are quite small and precise.
- Assisting in machine upgrades, modifications, and customizations as required.
- A qualified machinist/fitter with hands-on experience in mechanical fitting and assembly.
- Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles and assembly processes.
- Familiarity with hand tools, measuring instruments, and standard fitting techniques.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tackling challenges.
- Previous experience in a similar role (e.g., assembly or mechanical fitting) within a manufacturing or engineering environment is highly desirable.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges in an evolving industry.
