An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Receptionist to join our friendly surgery. We are looking for a candidate full of enthusiasm with drive and determination who is ready for a challenge, to join our team of Reception and Administration staffMain duties of the jobTo be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception duties and the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties can include, but are not limited to, greeting and directing patients, effective use of the appointment system, booking appointments, the processing of information and assisting patients as required.To act as the central point of contact for patients, be responsible for the distribution of information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team, liaise with multi-disciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers.About usWe are a friendly and committed family practice compromising of 2 GP partners, 2 Salaried GP, Physician associate, 2 Practice Nurses, 3 HCA's and a supportive and experienced administration and Reception team.We have a list size of approximately 6700 patients, we use EMIS Web as our clinics system with Docman 10 used for document management. There may be, on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks.
