We are looking for an experienced receptionist/care navigator keen to undertake a position in General Practice.The position is part time 25 hours, and we require flexibility for the hours we cover, which is part of the core General Practice Service Delivery hours between 08.00-18.30pm Monday to Friday. (Currently we do not require weekend or bank holiday working).You will work along side an experienced reception team and be fully supported by this team to ensure our service delivery is professional, objective and calm and we are approachable in manner when liaising with patients, staff, healthcare professionals and outside agencies.Assisting the team in prioritising a busy workload, being a reliable and flexible team player and possessing the ability to help the team deal with a wide range of clerical and administration duties in a busy environment is essential.Previous experience of working in General Practice or NHS setting or similar job setting would be preferable but full training and support would be offered.The position is mainly based at Richmond Medical Centre, Accrington, however there may be an occasion where you work at the linked practice in Nelson.Main duties of the jobThe duties and responsibilities to be undertaken by members of the practice administration team may include any or all of the items in the following list.
