- Supervising Lessons: You will oversee pre-prepared lessons and activities, ensuring students remain on task and engaged with their work.
- Managing Classroom Behaviour: You will be responsible for upholding the school's behavior policy, creating a safe and productive atmosphere for all students.
- Assisting with Student Queries: While you won't be required to teach the subject, you'll provide general assistance and support, answering basic questions and helping students understand the provided instructions.
- Reporting and Administration: You will report back to the relevant staff on student conduct and any issues that arose during the lesson.
- Promoting Learning: You will encourage students to work independently and to the best of their ability, fostering a culture of self-reliance and academic responsibility.
- Ensuring Safety: You will be the primary point of contact for the students in the classroom, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Confidence and Authority: The ability to manage a classroom effectively and earn the respect of students from various age groups.
- Excellent Communication: Strong verbal skills to deliver instructions clearly and to communicate with both students and staff.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: A proactive approach and the ability to handle unexpected situations with calm and professionalism.

- Previous Experience: Prior experience in a school, youth work, or a similar environment is highly desirable but not essential.
